Returns & Refunds

At Staycation Vintage Parasols, we hope you'll be delighted with your purchase. Every parasol is carefully designed and packed with great care before leaving us. If, however, you decide it isn't quite right for your home or garden, we're here to make the returns process as straightforward as possible.

Your Right to Return

If you've changed your mind, you may request to return your parasol within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a refund, your parasol must be returned:

unused and in the same condition in which it was received;
complete with all original components and accessories;
in its original packaging wherever reasonably possible;
together with proof of purchase.

As our parasols are specially packaged to protect them during transit, we strongly recommend retaining the original packaging until you've decided to keep your purchase.

How to Arrange a Return

Before returning your order, please contact us at:

Please include your order number together with the reason for your return.

We'll provide you with return instructions and the correct return address.

Returns sent without prior authorisation may be delayed or refused.

Return Shipping

Where you are returning a parasol because you've changed your mind, selected the wrong colour or style, or simply decided it isn't suitable for your space, you will be responsible for arranging and paying the return shipping costs.

As these are large and delicate items, we recommend using a fully tracked and appropriately insured courier service.

Returned goods remain your responsibility until they have been safely received and inspected by us.

If the original packaging is no longer available, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure the parasol is packaged appropriately to prevent damage during return transit.

Inspecting Your Order

Please inspect your order promptly upon delivery.

If your parasol arrives damaged, develops a fault, or you believe you have received the incorrect item, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible, ideally including photographs where appropriate, so that we can investigate and resolve the issue quickly.

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged in transit or supplied incorrectly, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, including repair, replacement, collection or refund, at no additional cost to you.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we'll notify you that it has been processed.

Where approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method. While we process refunds promptly, please allow a few additional working days for your card provider or bank to complete the transaction.

If a returned parasol has been used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, has been assembled or used outdoors in a manner that diminishes its resale value, or is returned in a condition different from that in which it was supplied, we reserve the right to make an appropriate deduction from the refund where permitted.

Exchanges

If you'd prefer an alternative colourway or design, the quickest way to obtain your preferred parasol is to return your original purchase (subject to the conditions above) and place a new order.

If you would like advice before ordering an alternative design or colour, we're always happy to help.

Colour Representation

We take great care to photograph every parasol in natural light to represent each colour as accurately as possible.

As with all textile products, colours may appear differently depending on natural lighting, print reproduction and individual screens or devices. If you would like confirmation of a particular shade before purchasing, we're happy to provide additional photographs or a Pantone reference wherever available.
